Kelly Hubbuck aged 14 (Secretary of the Corner House Youth Project Steering Group), has been elected as the Ambassador for the North East for BBC Blast!

BBC Blast is an organisation that supports young people in developing within the arts, the group give young people the opportunity to try out new areas of the arts for free and provide opportunities for young people to try something new, for example; DJ-ing, Street Dance, Musical Theatre, Creative Writing, Media development etc.

Kelly now represents the whole of the North East and will be working closely with the community and young people of the Corner House Youth Project to develop ideas for the BBC Blast group and make sure young people have their voices heard!

We are very proud of Kelly and are thrilled that she has been given the opportunity to have this experience.
